Dr. Holland Maness is a native of the CSRA, attending Our Lady of Peace School, Paul Knox Middle School and North Augusta Senior High. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the College of Charleston. Following a 12-year career in software engineering and hospital administration, she returned to Augusta and began dental school at the Medical College of Georgia. She graduated second in her dental class of 2005. She completed her Orthodontic Residency training at the Medical College of Georgia in December, 2007.
Dr. Maness is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Georgia Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Eastern District Dental Association. Dr. Maness strives for excellence in every aspect of her life, and she is committed to bringing you the very best in orthodontics.
Dr. Maness holds clinical faculty appointments at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in both Orthodontics and Oral Medicine. She is a trained Forensic Odontologist (dentist) and serves as Forensic Dental Consultant to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. She teaches forensic dentistry to the dental students at MCG.
Dr. Maness lives in Columbia County with her husband, Leonard Fletcher, and her two children, Will and Merritt. She and her family are members of the Church of the Most Holy Trinity. She enjoys running, golf, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. Since childhood she has particularly enjoyed frequent trips to Edisto Beach in search of shark teeth and other fossils.
